Common
Arrangements for Gas – Consultation Paper on
Transmission Tariff and Regulation in Ireland and Northern
Ireland
The
Utility Regulator and the Commission for Energy Regulation
(CER) are today publishing a document as part of the Common
Arrangements for Gas (CAG) project. This is a consultation
paper on the CAG transmission tariff and outlines a number
of reform options that aim to deliver a harmonised approach
to gas transmission tariffing and regulation in the two
jurisdictions.
As
part of the consultation process, the Regulatory Authorities
are hosting a workshop on the 9th of July at the Utility
Regulator’s
offices, Queen’s House, Queen Street, Belfast.
Interested parties are welcome to attend. Please send
notification of
your attendance to Richard Hume (richard.hume@niaur.gov.uk).
